The bearing bolt B7-02-022 secures the bearing and damper components in the vibration damper of the BMW 600 engine with a defined preload, thereby preventing play and misalignment. During motorcycle restoration, old bearing bolts should always be inspected for possible material fatigue, corrosion, or stripped threads and, if in doubt, replaced with new parts.
