The left cylinder head with 4-hole mounting and pipe connection (Part No. B7-01-04120) forms the upper end of the cylinder in the BMW 700 engine and controls the gas exchange via the valves. As part of an engine overhaul, the sealing surfaces, valve train, and the threads of the 4-hole mounting should be carefully reconditioned to ensure long-term compression and sealing.
