The B6-08-00012 lubricating felt continuously supplies lubricant to shaft and bearing areas in the electrical assemblies of the BMW 600, such as the alternator or starter motor. During restoration, it is important to replace hardened or disintegrated felts to prevent increased wear, running noise, and consequential damage to bearings. A new lubricating felt restores the original lubrication function and thus the operational reliability of the unit.
