The H-Filter E40K fuel filter element, with part number B6-06-141, is used in the BMW 600’s fuel system to reliably trap dirt and rust particles before they reach the carburetor. During a restoration, the old filter element should always be replaced and the housing thoroughly cleaned to prevent clogging and starting problems. A fresh filter element contributes significantly to smooth engine operation and helps preserve the original carburetor system.
