The black bellows (Part No. B6-05-0841) for the gearshift lever of the BMW 600 seals the gearshift lever’s passageway and protects the shift mechanism from dirt and moisture. During a restoration, a cracked or hardened bellows must be replaced to prevent leaks, increased wear, and annoying noises in the passenger compartment. This restores both the function and the original appearance of the shift area.
