The tie rod B6-05-0290 is a remanufactured original part for the steering system of the BMW 600, glass bead blasted and electrogalvanized for improved corrosion protection. As part of a restoration, the threads should be carefully inspected and recut if necessary, and the tie rod end 3-116 and the silent blocks 3-008 or 3-0081 should be replaced. This preserves the original steering precision and significantly extends the service life of the steering system.
