Der Lenkstockhebel B6-05-011 überträgt die Bewegung des Lenkgetriebes auf die Spurstangen des BMW 600 und ist damit ein sicherheitsrelevantes Verbindungselement der Lenkung. Für eine fachgerechte Restauration ist die glasperlengestrahlte und verzinkte Oberfläche vorteilhaft, dennoch sollten Konus, Gewinde und das Umfeld auf Risse und Spiel geprüft und nur mit intakten Spurstangenköpfen montiert werden, um eine langlebige und präzise Lenkung sicherzustellen.
