Die Lenkspindel B6-05-0046 ist das Kernbauteil des Lenkgetriebes im BMW 600 und überträgt die Drehbewegung des Lenkrads in eine axiale Bewegung der Lenkmechanik. Für eine hochwertige Restauration sollten Gewindegänge und Laufbahnen auf Verschleiß und Korrosion geprüft und die Spindel nur mit einer passenden, maßhaltigen Spindelhülse und frischer Schmierung verbaut werden, um Spiel und Geräusche zu minimieren.
