Der Bremsträger B6-04-0596 ist die vordere rechte Bremsankerplatte des BMW 600 und trägt alle Komponenten der Trommelbremse an der Vorderachse. Für eine fachgerechte Restauration sollten Korrosion, Verschleiß an den Führungsflächen und eventuelle Verzüge geprüft und bei Bedarf instandgesetzt oder durch ein Neuteil ersetzt werden. Nur eine intakte Bremsankerplatte gewährleistet eine gleichmäßige Bremswirkung und sicheren Geradeauslauf beim Bremsen.
