The 2.50 mm shim B6-03-1161 for the BMW 600 transmission is used for the precise adjustment of bearing clearance and axial play of the transmission components. During an overhaul, washers of various thicknesses are combined to restore the original tolerances and thus the smooth operation of the transmission. This permanently protects the BMW 600’s drivetrain from unnecessary wear.
