The drive shaft B6-03-0246 is a new component for the BMW 600 transmission, designed without a centering pin, which may also be used in the BMW 700 and transmits torque from the transmission to the rear axle. During restoration, care must be taken to ensure precise alignment, clean mating surfaces, and the simultaneous replacement of bearings and seals to prevent vibrations and premature wear. This ensures long-lasting and authentic operation of the drivetrain in the classic car.
