The drive shaft B6-03-0245 is a used, untested part from the BMW 600 transmission, which may also be compatible with the BMW 700 and transmits torque from the transmission to the rear axle. For reliable use in a classic car restoration, the gear teeth, bearing seats, and the straightness of the shaft must be carefully inspected and, if necessary, reconditioned. This will determine whether the shaft can be reused or should be used as a parts donor.
