This used float chamber (Part No. B6-02-0503) for the Zenith KL-P carburetor with accelerator pump in the BMW 600 forms the fuel chamber, in which the float regulates the fuel level to ensure a constant fuel-air mixture. During restoration, sealing surfaces, bores, and the pump channel area should be carefully inspected for cracks, corrosion, and warping and reworked if necessary. This ensures that the original carburetor remains in reliable working order and can continue to be used.
