This used air duct (lower right) with a 45-mm opening and outer shell recess (B6-01-1617) is an important original part for proper airflow in the BMW 600 engine. Before installation as part of a restoration, the sheet metal should be thoroughly inspected, derusted, and straightened if necessary to ensure that the factory-specified air duct routing—and thus engine cooling—is fully restored.
