The rocker arm bridge B6-01-099 supports and guides the rocker arms for the left intake and right exhaust valves in the cylinder head of the BMW 700 engine, thereby ensuring the precise transmission of camshaft movement to the valves. During an engine restoration, the bearing seats and contact surfaces of this bridge should be carefully inspected for wear, cracks, and warping, and should be reworked or replaced if necessary. This used, untested original part is well-suited as a basis for an overhaul or as a reference for a faithful restoration of the valve train.
