The low-beam switch SWF (Part No. 7-3455) for the US version of the BMW Isetta electrically switches between high and low beams and is therefore a central component of the lighting system. During restoration, the contacts should be inspected for corrosion and wear and, if necessary, cleaned or the switch replaced to ensure safe operation of the headlights. A thorough functional test prior to installation is essential, especially for used original parts.
