The left brush holder plate (Part No. 7-0022) for the BMW Isetta Electrical System holds the brush holder and ensures precise guidance of the carbon brushes on the dynastart system. An intact holder with clean guidance and sufficient spring force ensures a uniform current transfer at the commutator. When restoring the Isetta, it is recommended to replace worn brush holder plates to prevent sparking and uneven brush wear.
