Bei der Restauration sollten alle Gelenke, Scharniere und Streben dieses gebrauchten, unreparierten Gestänges sorgfältig gerichtet, entrostet und spielfrei überholt werden, um späteren Undichtigkeiten und Fehlstellungen des Verdecks vorzubeugen.
