This used steering column (Part No. 3-1273) for the standard BMW Isetta with a three-spoke steering wheel is supplied unrepaired as a starting point for a complete overhaul. As part of a restoration, threads should be re-cut, bearing seats inspected, and the surfaces re-galvanized, painted, or chrome-plated depending on the desired finish. This allows the original steering function to be restored with a proper fit and authentic appearance.
