Die Lenkspindel 3-0865 für die BMW Isetta überträgt die Drehbewegung des Lenkrads über Kreuzgelenk und Lenkgehäusedeckel mit Pendelkugellager auf das Lenkgetriebe der Vorderachse. Für eine fachgerechte Restauration sollten Lagerstellen, Kreuzgelenk und Passflächen auf Verschleiß, Korrosion und Spiel geprüft und bei Bedarf überholt werden. Da die Spindelhülse fehlt, ist eine passende Hülse mit korrektem Lagerspiel zwingend nachzurüsten, um eine präzise und sichere Lenkung zu gewährleisten.
