The surfaces are still partially scarred, but this provides an advantage because of the oil reservoir. The thread has been tested and, if necessary, made passable.

The revised brake support 3-0265 for the BMW Isetta front axle features re-machined or re-ground bearing surfaces, ensuring that concentricity and surface hardness are maintained, and allowing the scarred areas to serve as oil reservoirs. The tested and, if necessary, repaired thread enables direct use in restoration projects. To ensure play-free mounting of the brake unit, two bushings 3-0050 should be installed per support.
